Manifold and Structures QC inspector
- Deliverables within the subsea discipline are in accordance with  contractual requirements and in compliance with rules and regulation.
- Support the project overall timeline and objectives.
- The SPS QC Inspector – Manifold and Structures will be reporting to SPS TMI Lead Engineer.  
- Weekly reports shall be submitted detailing the progress on work being performed and planned for following week, including inspections, witness points and review of manufacture documentation, and potential challenges to the planned delivery programme.
- Conduct surveillance of Fabrication Subcontractor and its suppliers / vendors during manufacturing, fabrication and testing activities in accordance with the balder Future SPS Surveillance Plan /Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs):
- Ensure that Contractor, Subcontractor and Supplier organizations perform QC inspection activities in accordance with project requirements, specified acceptance criteria and the contracted scope of work;  
- Review, monitor and report the status of inspection and test activities executed by the Contractor, Subcontractor and Supplier  
- Witness of  NDE operations, including qualification and test equipment, and acceptance criteria and parameters;
- Witness of welding operations, welding operator qualification and equipment, including acceptance criteria, materials & consumables.
- Review traceability records; weld lists, material certificates, coating etc.
- Witness testing activities, including FAT and SIT of the different manifold modules and structures.
- Monitor and report the progress, schedule and delivery of equipment and material within the Balder Future  SPS Project at various Contractor, Subcontractor & Suppliers locations and facilities.
- Monitor & report on QC activities associated with structural & piping fabrication, welding ,NDE, coating and painting operations;
- Monitor subcontractor performance in the management, control and reporting of QC processes and testing activities;
- Witness attendance at Independent Third Party test facilities to verify mechanical testing according to requirements
- Assist the co-ordination and close out quality issues, including follow up NCR processes.
- Participate in daily and weekly meetings with Contractor and subcontractor, which will be held at the fabrication sites.  
- Support and enforce the HSEQ Project objectives and directives and   
- Participate regularly in weekly HSE inspections/walks
- Follow up the compilation and completion of  project document deliverables and quality records.  
- Monitor, report and expedite the progress, schedule and delivery of “Final Documentation”.
- More than 10 years
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar, less formal education may be accepted based on experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a QC/Welding/NDE role in the Oil and Gas Industry, of which 5 years within fabrication and testing of Subsea Production System template and manifolds or similar structures.
- Certified welding inspector according to NS477 or IWI-S/C and NDE  ISO 9712 Level II or equivalent.
