Senior Completion Engineer
- Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
- Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning activities are documented in completion system for handover to operations.
- The position reports to the Alliance completion manager.
- Promote One Team philosophy
- Ensure good communication between subsea alliance and other alliances.
- Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimates associated with the completion scope.
- As part of study phase, develop completion strategies.
- Manage completion part of contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment.
- Ensure correct setup in Company completion system.
- Ensure correct signatures in Company completion system as project progresses.
- Endure smooth transition from construction to commissioning.
- Ensure smooth transition from project to operations. This includes organizing handover meetings with operations where required.
- Coordinate with Site completion lead to ensure signed MCCRs and FAT procedures are included in Company completion system.
- Coordinate with other alliances and PRO Asset.
- As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet Company’s expectations.
- Focus on continuous improvement and looking to improve existing work processes.
- Participate in pre-startup and performance test reviews.
- Participate in the workflow of commissioning scope.
- Be a role model and demonstrate HSE leadership by emphasizing personal commitment to HSE and by promoting Alliance HSE principles and mindset.
- Actively promotes a positive team environment, demonstrating shared commitment to the success of the team and the wider project organization.
- Track record of completion delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills.
- Familiarity with project completion systems, planning tools, works management systems and document management systems.
- Ability to engage and lead a team of professionals.
- Actively promotes open and effective communication.
- Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.
- Seeks to develop self and coaches others to help their development.
